⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Where do I even start with Carl?!What was supposed to be a “straight forward” type of job turned into one of those jobs where absolutely NOTHING wanted to cooperate… on a Sunday, obviously!!Carl came all the way out, arrived at 8am and then basically refused to be defeated till gone 8pm at night. Every time the job threw another problem at him, he calmly worked through it, tried another avenue and carried on. No drama, no disappearing, no you’ll need someone else for that just a genuinely knowledgeable engineer determined to work out what was going on!And he stayed. And stayed. And STAYED.What I particularly liked about Carl was how completely straightforward and transparent he was. He explained everything, didn’t try to baffle me with plumber-speak we talked through everything together, was methodical about what he was doing and genuinely seemed to care about getting the problem sorted rather than simply getting out of the door.Even after he finally escaped, he still went above and beyond to help, and the communication and follow-up afterwards have been absolutely brilliant.Anyone can look amazing when a job is easy. I think you find out how good someone actually is when the job becomes an absolute pain in the backside and follows through — and Carl was exceptional.KnowledgeableMethodicalStraight-talkingFriendlyPatient beyond all reasonable expectationPrepared to sacrifice his Sunday to a boiler that clearly had other plans!Honestly, an absolute credit to his trade.I would recommend Carl in a heartbeat and will 1000% use him again — although, for Carl’s sake, hopefully next time I can give him something slightly less eventful to deal with!!Thank you Carl — genuinely above and beyond. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s been a great experience dealing with Carl at Forge Climate, he was so helpful and welcoming of my questioning when I was doing my research and a knowledgeable positive person to deal with, having a lot of experience in this field. The price was really great for the quality of the install and he was reliable and clean and tidy and respectful in his work. It’s made what could have been a difficult process so seamless and easy and now I have a lovely new heating system, Worcester Bosch. There is continued care after the install too. I would absolutely recommend working with this company!

I had some heating and plumbing work to be done in connection with my property extension. Initially, another person came to assess the situation but found it quite complicated. Then I contacted Carl from Forge Climate. When Carl came to see the situation, he immediately understood what was wrong and knew exactly how to sort out what had become a complete mess. He handled everything professionally, efficiently and to a very high standard. The work was completed neatly and properly, and I honestly felt very impressed and relieved that Carl was able to sort everything out so comfortably.I would genuinely and highly recommend Carl and Forge Climate to anyone looking for professional, reliable and high-quality heating and plumbing work. Many thanks, Carl!

What an absolute nightmare of a day! 😂💦Not Carl — my situation! I somehow managed to snap a radiator pipe and suddenly my living room decided it was time to become a swimming pool. 🏊♀️💧Cue me frantically trying to stop the flood, while my emergency home cover basically said, “Best we can do is tomorrow.” 😳🙄Thankfully, after a desperate Google search, I found Carl — and honestly, the gods had answered my prayers! 🙏😂Carl was at my house within the hour, straight into action, completely calm and professional while I was basically standing there having a nervous breakdown 😂He fixed the broken pipe, sorted out my heat pump and water tank, and somehow had the whole situation back to normal in about an hour. You genuinely wouldn’t know anything had happened! 👏🏼That’s what impressed me most — not only was Carl incredibly quick to respond, but he knew exactly what he was doing, worked efficiently, explained what was going on and just got the whole disaster under control.Carl, your number is now firmly saved in my phone! 📱😂 Hopefully, I’ll never have to call you in an emergency again… but if I ever need a plumber, you’ll be the first person I call!Thank you again, Carl. You were an absolute lifesaver today — quite literally! ❤️🔧10/10 service, 10/10 professionalism and absolutely zero complaints… although I could have done without the indoor swimming pool! 😂💦

New boiler install and complete replacement of pipes and radiators in a 3 bed house whilst we were living in it and working from home. Carl was extremely knowledgeable and efficient, suggesting novel ways of routing the pipes for minimum disturbance and also minimum pipes showing. Also a pleasure to have around, upskilling us on heating and water management when we engaged, but also unobtrusive allowing us to continue to work. The quality and neatness of the work is first class and wouldn’t hesitate to have back and recommend to anyone

Most boilers should be serviced once a year to make sure they are operating safely and efficiently. Annual servicing can also help maintain manufacturer warranties and reduce the risk of unexpected faults.

Yes. Forge Climate repairs both gas and oil boilers. Our engineer is Gas Safe and OFTEC registered and experienced in diagnosing faults across a wide range of heating systems.
Boilers can develop faults for a number of reasons, including worn components, low system pressure, pump issues or problems with the ignition or controls. We diagnose the cause before carrying out any repair.
Many boiler faults can be repaired during the same visit once the issue has been identified. More complex problems may require additional parts, but we always aim to restore your heating as quickly as possible.
This depends on the age of the boiler, the type of fault and the overall condition of the system. We assess the problem and recommend the most practical and cost effective solution honestly.
In many cases older boilers can still be repaired if replacement parts are available and the system is still safe to operate. We will always advise you honestly if a repair is suitable or if replacement is the better option.
Powerflushing is a cleaning process that removes sludge, rust and debris from a central heating system using specialist equipment and cleaning chemicals, helping the system run more efficiently.
Powerflushing usually takes several hours, depending on the size of the heating system and the level of contamination present in the pipework and radiators.
Yes. Removing sludge and debris from the system improves water circulation, helping radiators heat more evenly and allowing the boiler to operate more efficiently.
Common signs include cold spots on radiators, slow heating, unusual noises from the boiler or radiators, and discoloured water when bleeding radiators.
Yes. Cleaning the heating system reduces strain on the boiler, pumps and radiators, which can help extend the lifespan of the overall system.
Wet underfloor heating works by circulating warm water through a network of pipes installed beneath the floor. The heat rises evenly throughout the room to create a comfortable indoor temperature.
Yes. Underfloor heating can operate at lower water temperatures than traditional radiator systems, which can improve efficiency while keeping rooms comfortable.
Yes. Wet underfloor heating systems work with most modern boilers. We assess your current heating system and make sure the underfloor system is installed correctly for reliable operation.
Yes. Wet underfloor heating is commonly installed in extensions, kitchen renovations and new living spaces where efficient, evenly distributed heat is beneficial.
In some rooms underfloor heating can replace radiators entirely, although in larger properties it is sometimes installed alongside traditional radiators depending on the heating requirements.
Yes. Many modern air conditioning systems provide both heating and cooling, allowing you to control the temperature of your room throughout the year rather than only in summer.
Modern systems are designed with quiet operation in mind, which makes them suitable for areas such as bedrooms and home offices where noise levels are particularly important.
The best position depends on your property and the location of the indoor unit. We assess this as part of the installation and discuss the available options with you before we begin.
